A little about me...

Storytelling has been a part of my life since I was a child.  Whether I was buried in a book, behind the lens of a camera, or singing on a stage; I have loved immersing myself in the art of telling a story.

My education background is in film which has led me to teach Film, Animation, and Photography.  I'm also an academic spending my time knee-deep in books researching mythology and studying how storytelling has evolved.

Quick Fire:

​

• I prefer tea over coffee.

• I have a dog and a cat. (+ a partner of 24 years and 3 kids)

• I hate running but you'll still find me on the treadmill daily.

• I model for local photographers so I know exactly how nerve-racking it can be to jump in front of the camera. (See below)

• Big supporter of Body Positivity and the LGBTQIA+ community

• Fiction over NonFiction all day every day!  (Mostly Fantasy)

• I'm poly with my cameras: I shoot with Canon, Nikon, Fuji, & Sony

• BSc Cinematography | MFA Creative Writing | Diploma in Death Archaeology
